Investigación traslacional en psicología jurídica: propuestas, retos y perspectivas

Resumen

El objetivo del presente artículo de reflexión es identificar la necesidad, relevancia y pertinencia de la investigación traslacional en el campo de la psicología jurídica. Para tal fin, se implementa un método analítico-abductivo a partir del cual se describirán en primera instancia, los dominios del conocimiento en la psicología jurídica como disciplina científica y como profesión. Posteriormente, se presentarán algunas concepciones en torno a la dicotomía entre ciencia básica y ciencia aplicada, y algunos modelos de interrelación entre aquellas, dentro de los cuales se enfatizará en el modelo de investigación traslacional en el campo de las disciplinas científicas en general y de la psicología jurídica en particular. Finalmente, se propone un modelo inédito de investigación traslacional y se concluye identificando algunas de sus implicaciones sobre el desarrollo de conocimiento disciplinar, el impacto en la solución de problemas socialmente valorados y la formación de profesionales en el campo de la psicología jurídica.
