Abstract

"The great scientific-technical revolutions have always been through history, the basis and starting point of the great changes in the human evolution" stresses the Costa Rican philosopher Arnoldo Mora in this essay, making Latin-Americans and Caribbeans see that scientific investigation is not only a game, not just the future, but itself the existence of a country as a developed and sovereign nation. Therefore, it is indisputable, explains Mora, that human beings must consider always, for their own survival, the cultivation of knowledge.
