Abstract

Enriqueta de la Cruz reflects in this article on the repercussions of the fascist uprising against the Spanish Republic 70 years ago and on the spirit presently prevailing in her country confronting "a law of historical memory" by means of which the conservative powers pretend to whitewash the "coup d'etat" and the Franco dictatorship. In contrast, the Spanish journalist proposes a law free from ties to false morality, to lies, a law that allows the Spanish people to know themselves, to be reconciled, to forge ahead toward a clean and confident future.
