Main Article Content
Abstract
A 67-year-old female patient, who goes to the hospital because a week before the consultation there was a fire in her house, reports intense headache and dyspnea. Since then the patient refers “sooty taste” and cough with expectoration and dyspnea. X-rays were requested and an increased bad defined density was observed on left base with peripheral distribution and other more linear ones, which were interpreted as suspicious for sars-CoV-2 infection given the current pandemic status. Because there is an absence of epidemiology, but biochemical data exist that do not rule out the possibility of sars-CoV-2 viral infection, it was decided to perform a chest ct scan. After that, samples were taken for sars-CoV-2, rt-pcr, the result was positive.
