Abstract

Several data analysis techniques framed in a general linear model, a generalized lineal model and in non-metric analysis are analyzed. It is assumed that functionality of data-analysis techniques is detached from the context in which it has been developed and from the methodological dimension in which those analyses are produced. It is advocated that concepts advanced by the researcher suggest the planification of a given data-obtention design, the use of one or more analyses techniques for those data, as well as the terms in which the data are interpreted
