Abstract

This paper ir focused on type-A behavior from a basic psychophysiological point of view. Two aspects are discussed: a) one related to formal and methodological aspects, with special reference to techniques employed. Emphasis is made on techniques in cardiovascular and electrodermal activity; 2) a second one reviewing those investigations made in the last years in this area. Finally, it is pointed out the scattered variety of outcomes related to difficulties in comparing studies because of the diversity of tasks, samples and variables employed
