Abstract


Tite aim of tltis study roas to assess temporal distribution of tite activities of core¬givers in infant and toddler arcas. These activities were recorded from rnonday to friday in four different settings during dx hours per <lay. Tite observation code consiste&offour categories: Physical contact, social interaction, setting condicions for core and teaching. and activities unrelated to intervention program. Mean rote o/responses in each category  was computed each hour; tendencies were determined by linear regression analysis. Re¬sults show that tite most frequent activities in alt four settings were unrelated to tite itt¬tervention program, and a negative dope or tendency of alt other activities itt most set¬tings except for tite last one. Tite use of a similar analysis to assess behavioral tendencies is considered asan use/sil metitodology to evaluate interventlon procedures.
