Behavior theory: Extensions About the Development of Intelligent Behavior

Abstract
Based on the theoretical work of Ribes and López (1985) and on Ribes' formulations about intelligent behavior (Ribes, 1981, 1990), the categories of didactic discourse that facilitate its development, are described. These are: a) a varied drill with feedback by the teaching agent; b) the description of performance and its functional conditions; e) the description of performance descriptions: d) the description of the conditions in which a rule can be applied and; e) the transmission of one's acquired knowledge to others making use of the same procedure by which one was taught. The advantages of this type of discourse to improve the quality of education, are emphasized.
