The Open University Division of the faculty of law of UNAM has its own electronic journal called AMICUS CURIAE with the objective of promoting research, reflections and collaborations in law issues. AMICUS CURIAE is a legal latin phrase that means "friend of the court" referring to someone that doesn't belong to the case but voluntarily offers legal information that helps the judicial organ to settle any controversy. Also the Open University Division reaffirms its commitments with their students, professors and researchers by  encouraging the judicial analysis.
