About the Journal
Focus and scope
Anales de Antropología is one of the most important contemporary anthropological publications in the Spanish-speaking academic field. Its main objective is the dissemination of anthropological knowledge in its various areas. Its goals are: 1) to publicize the results and products of the research of the academics of the Institute, and of authors specialized in the field of anthropology not attached to the institute; 2) take advantage of digital technology as a resource to share knowledge instantly and with a worldwide audience, and 3) increase the visibility and impact of the work of the journal's authors, in a way that makes it easier to Locate articles to increase readership and citations.
Peer review process
Annals of Anthropology uses the double-blind peer review system, so 2 reviewers are assigned to each article and a third is added if necessary.
Open Access policy
This journal provides immediate free access to its content under the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater exchange of global knowledge.
