Extension of deadline for Call for papers for future issues of Anales de Antropología

Anales de Antropología is an open access journal, a biannual continuous publication, edited and distributed by the Instituto de Investigaciones Antropológicas of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

Anales de Antropología publishes articles related to the different fields of Anthropology: Physical Anthropology, Archaeology, Ethnology, Linguistics; whose topic is of worldwide interest, without losing the perspective of the specialty from which the texts are approached, either interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary https://www.revistas.unam.mx/index.php/antropologia

It is an open access journal, with double blind review and international scientific committee, which is open throughout the year for the reception of: scientific papers, critical or theoretical-methodological essays, news or information and critical bibliographical reviews. Although these are miscellaneous volumes, the following topics are of special interest for future issues:

  • Anthropology and emotions

          Extension of the deadline for submission: December 31 2024

  • Anthropology of Oaxaca

            Extension of the deadline for submission: March 31 2024

Texts (scientific papers, critical or theoretical-methodological essays, news or information and critical bibliographical reviews) must be unpublished, written in Spanish or English.

Anales de Antropología is part of the Padrón Conacyt de Revistas Científicas, Scielo, SCI, DOAJ, Dialnet, Latindex Catalog 2.0, OpenAlex, Dimensions and Biblat.

All papers must be submitted for review digitally through the Open Journal System and comply with the guidelines established by the journal Anales de Antropología.

Contributions that do not respect the editorial guidelines of the journal will not be accepted.
