Hacia una epistemología maya

Abstract

The research problem dealt with in the first part of this text concerns the existence of a Mayan theory of knowledge based on its own historical evolution through a mind perspective that involves an acceptance of intercultural difference. The text contains a brief historical survey of the western concepts of mind in order to propose that nahualism represents a meeting category that converses with the occidental mind.
