Abstract

Scientific knowledge and sociology are directly related to the power of war, but instead of leading us to a positive cultural evolution we have obtained a negative cultural evolution. This is shown by many historical exarnples, but the reacent Gulf War? achieved to combine very succesfully both aspects. On one side (cientifically) we have the application of a highly efficent and destructive lecluology of war and on the other (sociologically) the worldwide manipulation of the means of comunicating which achieves to create a general public opinion which justifies the war by itself. At present, politics, economy and science in the United States of Northamerica are sustained by war and therefore scientists should take the first step to use the money and talent in favour of peace without hiding behind a supposed amorality of science, starting thereby the process
of cultural evolution in it's positive scence.
