Por un marco teórico conceptual para los estudios de Antropología de la alimentación

Abstract

This text offers a theoretical proposal for the development of anthropological studies of the process of food provision we will call feeding. The proposal is based on the notion of quotidian, understood as the conscious construction of reality and, at the same time, a space for creativity made up by individuals and groups. Feeding (in Spanish: alimentación) is a systematic process which anthropological research understands as the dynamic configuration of the ways through which people eat within specific historical and geographical contexts.
