Abstract

This paper is a study of the new data found through archaeological, ethnohistorical, and linguistical methods, about the habitational zone in Cerro Colotlán. The archaeological excavations made in this area at the beginning of year 2000, revealed a site with an arquitectonic style that didn’t match the materials on the surface, dated between 990-1275 AC On the other hand, ethnohistorical and linguistical analyses allow us to say that the tepecanos, the natives from Cerro Colotlán, were the last nation to occupy the archaeological site.
