Abstract

There are three hidden ideas betwen most approaches about culture. Taking it as a whole is one of them. Other refers to its transmission, understood as a natural event. The third one is related with the way the members of the society use it or consume culture. Nevertheless this is not enough, it implies a better understanding about culture to transpose those limits, and face the problem of its origin, the role played by individuals and cultural contradictions. Transformation of the environment and supplies production, contain the bases of production and transmission of culture. Within the scope of culture, where men are related to each other, cultural contradictions arise as a result of the production of culture by social clases that use a previous background towards the continuity of domination.
