Abstract

This is the final report of the Valle de Tlacolula, Oaxaca project of the University of Georgia. The project made a very comprehensive survey of most sites in the Valley of Oaxaca. A clear relation is seen between different sites in the frame of time. The authors propose some of the preliminary conclusions that can be pointed out from their survey and show the need to understand the interregional relations in Mesoamerica social conflict seems to have been a very important factor in the development of this region.
