Abstract

The ecuatorian scientist Gustavo Vega Delgado analyzes in this essay the behavioral matrices of Latin-Americans in the USA, in the framework of a world context determined by twenty million human refugees, thirty million displaced by violence, and more than a hundred million migrants. This is, no doubt, one of today's challenges. The topics of identity, acculturation, transculturation, and power related to the Latin-American migrants and Caribbeans in the Power of the North, are studied here with singular profoundness and acuity.
