Abstract

According to Arnoldo Mora Rodríguez, when we talk about the intercultural dialogue and we formulate the question: how to contribute to human kind in today's society, we are mainly making a philosophical question of the deepest scope. The Costa Rican philosopher, after analyzing the actual reality, proposes in this essay the recovery of the utopian dimension of thought, in which the scientific reason and the political will unite and are fecundated by the creative imagination. This efficiency of thinking ourselves as future, of giving priority to imagination as inspirational of action and guide to analysis, is what defines to him the cultural doing.
