Abstract
The distinguished Ecuatorian, José Moncada, died last January. He was President of the Central University of Ecuador at the end of the seventies and the beginning of the eighties. His friend of many years, the Mexican economist Alonso Aguilar Monteverde, founder of the Association for the Unity of Our America - AUNA México, bestows homage upon this work, in which he underlines the Latinoamericanism and kindness of Moncada. And he includes his last article, entitled: Global Problems and Solutions, which he had published shortly before die in The Telegraph of Guayaquil.
