THE THEORY OF RESISTANCE

Abstract

Are Venezuela and Venezuelans resisting the threat of war posed by the United States? Is this brother country going to be a victim of a military occupation because of an insatiable and voracious power greedy for oil and natural resources? The Venezuelan historian, Alejandro Cardozo knits together a story in which Venezuela witnesses the invasion of Uncle Sam. It is an interesting exercise in thinking and in the literature of fantasy. He concludes that resistance to such action is mainly within an enemy who wishes to sell out the heart of the country's land.
