Abstract

This is the title that the Mexican researcher Guillermo Gutiérrez Nieto gives to the Caribbean rhythms, which he treats with expertise, going from the ska, the calypso, the soak to the mambo, cha-cha¬cha and reggae. There are numerous varieties which have been present in the joyful Caribbean party through time. From there, the musicians have nourished their art and found popularity in whatever time.
