20 YEARS OF "FIM" FROM MANTA TO ECUADOR AND THE WORLD
Main Article Content
Abstract
The International Theater Festival of Manta has reached its twentieth season. It was founded in 1987 by Nixon García and Rocío Reyes, of the Group la Trinchera; its name is derived from the Ecuadorian port in which it is located, and where it became an important forum for discussion and dissemination of dramatic arts in South America. The Ecuadorian journalist Lola Márquez reviews this chronicle of Ecuadorian theater groups and those of many other countries which have given presentations over these twenty years, before a total of eighty thousand spectators.
