The Basting of the Tailor High Roof Systems in Amancio Williams’ Architecture
Main Article Content
Abstract
In Amancio Williams´ architecture, high roofs had a constant presence. In some cases, they were thought as a reproductible and prefabricated system to press forward the building process, and in others, as an architectural resource to improve environmental conditions, introducing a second elevated roof that worked as a sunshade in areas of intense solar radiation. Under this concept, he was able to design an element of great aesthetic value and universal range, applicable to different situations.
