On Natural Light in Architecture

Abstract

The importance of natural light in architecture fosters the understanding of its nature and how it is analyzed. Through knowledge of the natural lighting resource, the architectural object could be affected from the design process in order to achieve the benefits associated with its good use. A glimpse of important aspects and regulation in this area provides an understanding of where we are standing in the acknowledgment and interest advocated to natural lighting in the architectural discipline.
