Dwell without Sight: Designing with the Hands
Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent times, architecture has privileged the sense of sight. As a result, construction systems have lost their original material honesty, which has been replaced by more scenographic approaches. This article reflects on the perception of dwelling in a space without the sense of sight, and on how to conduct participatory design processes for inclusive, progressive and self-produced dwellings for the blind.
