The Sense of Drawing. Drawing, Designing, Building: Indistinguishable Tasks
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article argues that drawing, understood as a tool for visually communicating an architectural
project, plays different roles in architectural thought and praxis by studying the case of
the architect Danilo Veras (1949-2007), analyzing the variety of drawings he made and how they
formed an essential part of his exemplary, unrepeatable way of working, in which drawing,
designing and building were indistinguishable tasks.
