L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui: A Witness to the Development of Modern Spanish Architecture (1950-1986)
Main Article Content
Abstract
In 1986, L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui published an interesting monograph dedicated to Spanish
architecture. This issue was the culmination of a series of articles on Spain that had been
published in the magazine since the 1950s, which made it into the international periodical
that paid the most attention to Spanish modernity in the second half of the twentieth century.
This article explores the reasons for the French magazine’s interest in Spain, which include the
affinity of some Spanish architects with the magazine’s editorial team.
