The matter between the stars

Abstract
Tere is a space between the stars that contains a considerable quatity of matter dense clouds of gas and dust which produces some of the phenomena we observe. This iterestelar matter gives rise to the constant formation of new stars and studying it helps us to unravel the formative history of the stars in our galaxy and in others.
