Abstract

Prejudice and the racial discrimination are analyzed in Mexico’s political context, which a retrospective of the problem is made from the colonial times until today, because it has been argued that the biological miscegenation there been in Mexico among “white” conquerors and “indigenous” conquered, it didn’t imply a discriminatory behavior as the one practiced by the English conquerors with regard to the indigenous population that found to the north of the continent. In spite of the above-mentioned, it is considered that it was exactly in that time where you/they are the roots of the discrimination that it prevails at the present time of the mestizo population toward the native and that of African origin.
