In this moment there are different models that explain the biological configuration of the Native American human populations. One of the simplest, proposes that the total indigenous population is composed by a amerindian and paleoamerican megapopulations; this last one constituted by the inhabitants that preceded to the epoch of the agricultural revolution and of which some survived to recent epochs. In this paper we analyzed three cranial series: La Paila, La Candelaria and Pericúes, that present morphological continuity with the paleoamerican component. We make a statistical analysis ANOVA and principal components with classical craneometric data, with the objective to evaluate the intragroup variability and the principal morphological polimorphism.
