Abstract

The frecuency of heterochromatic polymorphisms on C banded chromosomes 1, 9 and 16 in mixteco population resident in Mexico City was analized. Secondary constriction regions were classified according to a semi-quantitative procedure which had been shown to be simple and convenient. We compared our results with those in a Mestizo Mexican population and some of the differences are statistically significant.
