Rethinking reproduction from masculine perspective

In general most of the literature that analyzes the factors and risks associated with reproduction, parts of the female conditions and characteristics, while there is a lack of information from the male’s, which may be associated with methodological difficulties and / or the social construction of male reproduction and prevailing. The purpose of this paper is to reflect on reproduction from the male perspective and to do a physical anthropology analysis from some of the research that address the masculine aspects of this process to investigate beyond the scope of biological variability in search of the relationship of men with their bodies, their experience, perception of their roles, etcetera, from the literature review of different perspectives: evolutionary, ontogenetic, demographic, and social.
