Abstract

This investigation was managed to compile information of the last decades, where Mexico City and metropolitan area has transformed into a zone over-exploitation of the underground water and also the inadequate use of all the superficial sources, caused the search of places and options to supply the own river basin, not concerning the elevation since it is counted on pumping systems; but still with this, the population growth creates automatically an increase of the demand of the vital liquid.
