Abstract

On October 13, 2009 “Management, Use and Reuse of Water program at the UNAM, PUMAGUA” was implemented at FES Aragon. One of its objectives is to assess, in the dry and rainy season, the quality of feed water tanks and toilets in the bathrooms. This paper presents the results of the physico - chemical analysis of samples taken in college. The water supply exceeds the permissible limit for drinking water considered due to the concentration of total dissolved solids and chlorides. The internal network is contaminated with organic matter (microorganisms), as the free residual chlorine concentration is gradually lost. The drinking water is considered not to exceed certain limits established by NOM-127-SSA1-1996.
