Las Huastecas. What types of “regions” are we talking about?

Abstract

The object of this article is to open up discussion on the viability of using the concept of region in the Huastecas, above all, when one considers that it has been a socially and historically constructed space, where the elements of analysis have been permeated by academic essentialism.
