Gesto y ritual. Lecturas sobre el bautismo entre los mayas contemporáneos

Abstract

This paper explores the ritual practices between the Protestants of Guatemala and Yucatan using an ethnographic approach. It presents fieldwork data with the intention of analyzing the way Mayan, Catholic and Protestant religiosity combine in a dynamic indigenous context.
