Implementation Of The Restrictive And Controlling Immigration Policy Of The Lebanese And Korean In Motul

Abstract
We analyze the implementation of restrictive and controlling federal immigration policies of the twenties and thirties of the twentieth century in Motul, Yucatan, a small and remote town from the center of the country. The goal is to understand how decisions made at the federal level reached the most remote places and what were the real possibilities to carry out, in these regions, as established by the federal government. Noted for example that the impact of these policies was not uniform for all foreigners because in Lebanese and Koreans we can dislodge some differences due to their characteristics as migrant groups
