Elites And The Fields Of Dispute In Nicaragua: A Retrospective Look
Main Article Content
Abstract
Nicaraguan elites have been fighting a long dispute to obtain and keep power from Somoza’s dynasty, back to the 70’s in the past century. It is possible to observe how the areas of dispute and also the actors, have been moving from the public to the private sector, and vice versa. Forty years later, this problem has not been solved, and threatened to rescue an old authoritarism.
