La democracia, desde la perspectiva de los procesos populares y nacionalistas en América Latina

Abstract

The present article offers a count of the determining thinkers in the consolidation of the democracy concept. Montesquieu and Rouseau are described like the theoreticians of a democracy that, in as much practical policy, must guarantee the popular participation in the decision spheres. Latin America is watched like propitious scene for the exercise of one more a more direct and popular democracy.
