The influence of migration regarding the quality of life in the city of Loja households, 2009. Ecuador.

Abstract

The paper describes some of the differences between households with migrant relatives and households without migrant relatives. In order to do so, a Human Development Index (idh) is presented for each type of household (with or without migrant relatives), which goes to prove that individuals with direct migrant relatives have a poorer standard of living than households with no migrant relatives.
