The article offers a detailed study of the impact which the electoral process in Mexico in 2012in shaping the political forces involved in the Mexican political system. To tell the author, therenewal of the Executive and the Legislature confirms that its intervention in the process ofshaping the national political agenda, will remain a rather remote from the current model duringthe heyday of the Mexican presidentialism.
