Labor Governance: Old-new paradigms and models within labor relations
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article focuses on the explanation of the concept of labor governance as an analytical tool to the study of contemporary labor relations. Its main objective is to show why this line of research could be very useful and promising, considering the great global transformations that has happened in the labor market during the last decades, in a context in which interact two big paradigms and seven different models of organization and steering of labor relations: one oriented to production and the other one to consumption. We conclude arguing that more than reciprocally eliminating themselves, these different paradigms and models could coexist, something that implies that a new and much more complex scenario it is gradually being built in
the world of labor governance.
