Abstract

AS IN MOST PLACES AND FOR DIFFERENT ITEMS MULTIPLE CHOICE EXAMS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED IN THE POSTGRADUATE DIVISIÓN OF MEDICAL SCHOOL OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MEXICO. DUE TO THE EXTENSION OF MATTERS QUESTIONED, COMPLAINTS AND CRITICISM, HAVE ARISEN AND A RESEARCH PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED. A TEST MADE OUT OF 60 CLINICAL CASES WITH FIVE OPTIONS EACH AND A TOTAL OF 300 QUESTIONS WAS APPLIED IN TWO VERSIONS, THE FINAL PART OF TEST A APPEARED AS THE FIRST HALF OF TES B, EACH APPLIED TO 50% OF STUDENTS. NO OTHER CHANGES WERE INTRODUCED, THE TEST WERE QUALIFED FOR AN ELECTRONIC READER AND THE RESULTS SUBMITTED TO THE STUDENT T TEST. RESULTS IN BOTTLE GROUPS AN SECTIONS OF THE QUESTIONNAIRES WERE VERY SIMILAR IN EVERY ASPECT
