Aprendizaje basado en problemas: una experiencia en la enseñanza de la salud en el trabajo

Abstract

STRATEGY OF “PROBLEM BASED LEARNING” SEARCH THAT THE STUDENT ACQUIRES THE CAPACITY OF IDENTIFYING HEALTH PROBLEMS AND LOOK FOR INFORMATION TO SOLVE THEM. IN THE UNIT OF WORK HEALTH A PROJECT WAS DEVELOPED TO APPLY THAT STRATEGY. FIVE AREAS WERE CHOSEN: WORK CONDITIONS AND AMBIENCE, NOISE, ASBESTOS, PLAGUICIDES AND SOLVENTS. STUDENT AND TEACHER MATERIALS WERE DEVELOPED FOR EACH ITEM. THE TEACHER´S INCLUDED AN INTRODUCTION, CLEWS TO BE WORKED BY THE STUDENT, HYPOTHESIS, KNOWLEDGE AND ITS LIMITATIONS AND OBJECTIVES. EVALUATION WAS DONE IN EACH SESSION AND THROUGH TWO EXAMS. DOLLMANS´ QUESTIONAIRE AND A FURTHER EVALUATION WAS APPLIED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIVE EVALUATION. AS A RESULT WE ARE CONVINCED THAT THE PBL IS A GOOD METHOD AND FITS THE STUDENT´S INTERESTS.
