Abstract

The patient’s general inspection, as any other section of the medical history, give the physician valuable information that may be definitively lead to the diagnosis. The data that are superficially reviewed in this part of the history and their interpretation are based on the study of great groups of cases, which are subjected to a more systematic analysis with epidemiological methods and concepts in order to provide them with a probabilistic nature of greater weight.
