Los motores del crecimiento económico en la Argentina: rupturas y continuidades

Abstract
En los últimos treinta años, Argentina ha experimentado importantes transformaciones económicas que han impactado de modo diferente en su estructura productiva. Es así como el país pasó de ser considerado un ejemplo de cómo implementar transformaciones estructurales exitosas a principio de los años noventa, a sufrir la peor crisis económica de su historia al inicio del nuevo milenio. Luego de la devaluación monetaria y tras un breve periodo de transición, a mediados de 2003 asume la presidencia Néstor Kirchner, logrando durante todo su mandato tasas de crecimiento anual superiores a 8% que tuvieron importantes efectos tanto en el mercado de trabajo (caídas sostenidas en las tasas de desempleo y subempleo) como en la reducción en los niveles de pobreza.
