CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO Y POBREZA EN EL DISTRITO FEDERAL

Abstract
En el artículo se busca obtener estimaciones precisas del impacto económico del cambio climático en la pobreza de los hogares de la Ciudad de México que sirvan como referente para el diseño e implementación de políticas públicas al respecto. Para ello, se hace uso de métodos microeconométricos e información de encuestas. Se encontró que los habitantes de las delegaciones Gustavo A. Madero, Iztapalapa y Tlalpan serían los más afectados y que con el cambio climático los hogares recibirían con menor frecuencia agua potable (una reducción de casi cinco días al mes), tendrían menores ingresos (una reducción de 1 493 pesos al trimestre) y mayores dificultades para acceder a los alimentos (una reducción del gasto alimentario de 358 pesos al mes). Asimismo, los habitantes del Distrito Federal (D.F.) tendrían percepciones de su estado de salud más negativas y preferirían migrar hacia otros estados.
