LA FINANCIARIZACIÓN A DEBATE: LA DESVINCULACIÓN ENTRE BENEFICIOS E INVERSIÓN EN EL CASO ESPAÑOL

Abstract
Una de las principales tesis de la financiarización se refiere a la creciente desvinculación que, debido al exacerbado aumento de la actividad financiera, se está produciendo entre los beneficios y la inversión en algunas de las economías más desarrolladas. En base a una serie de aportaciones, relacionadas con la relevancia de las inversiones externas, hemos analizado esta tesis para el caso español comparando la perspectiva de la economía nacional, entre 1980 y 2012, y de un agregado de grandes empresas, entre 1997 y 2011. De esta manera, hemos identificado que sólo un grupo de empresas, las filiales extranjeras, constatan claramente la tesis mencionada, reflejando así la importancia de las inversiones extranjeras y de la unidad de análisis utilizada en este tipo de investigaciones.
