ALGUNOS HECHOS ESTILIZADOS Y EXPLICATIVOS SOBRE EL DIFERENCIAL Y LA DISCRIMINACIÓN SALARIAL POR SEXO EN MÉXICO, 1987-2015

Abstract
Esta investigación tiene como objetivo analizar algunos hechos estilizados y explicativos sobre los diferenciales de ingresos por hora y del ingreso mensual en México para el periodo 1987-2015. Para ello, se utiliza y evalúa el poder explicativo de la teoría del capital humano, sintetizado en años de escolaridad, capacitación y experiencia, con la metodología Blinder-Oaxaca, que pondera los factores explicativos por dotaciones, discriminación salarial plena y los factores no considerados representados por las constantes. Los resultados muestran, en general, que las dotaciones de capital humano tienen un efecto temporal y parcial, por lo que las tendencias de los diferenciales del ingreso por hora y mensual de largo plazo se explican, principalmente, por el comportamiento de la discriminación salarial y las dotaciones por años de experiencia. La escolaridad, como factor de discriminación, fue relevante sólo para el periodo previo a la crisis económica de 1995 y el TLCAN, mientras que el factor de la capacitación tiene efectos pequeños e intermitentes en todo el periodo de análisis.
